Quants Annual Golf Day 2018

On Thursday 13th September 2018 Quants and their sister company Kylemore Services Ltd held their annual golf day at Ealing Golf Club.

This annual event has become one of the most eagerly anticipated days within the Building Services calendar and the day was afforded with sunny weather which made the greens very difficult to judge.

The event is organised as a thank you to clients, sub-contractors and suppliers who have supported both our businesses throughout the year.

49 golfers of various handicaps and ability turned out on the day and we were privileged to have as our celebrity guests Perry Groves and Paul Merson, both Ex Arsenal footballers and now radio and TV personalities.

The event culminated with a 2 course carvery dinner with a number of further guests who couldn’t make the day. This was followed by the prize giving and an auction to raise money for the Rob George Foundation. See more at: www.therobgeorgefoundation.co.uk

For the record the winner of the full stableford handicap prize was Luke Gray with 40 points. Other prizes were awarded for runner up, 3rd place, 2no nearest the pins, longest drive & highest handicap prize.

Our sponsored charity for this year was The Rob George Foundation & it was fitting to have Rob’s parents Lorraine and Philip to come and talk about what the charity is all about.

As a result of the generosity of the sponsors and through the money raised by an auction on the night, the sum of £5,765 was raised for this worthy cause.
